Fresh
I don't know if I missed some phenomenon or something, but for me, this kind of game is a new and fresh idea. But what music?
It took me some time to figure where you hid the Begin-button... :)
Useful too
Don't you have an audiotorium in your school where you could show other people these slideshows? It's useful, but like "PC Components", this could've been something much better. Voted 2.
thanx, my IT teacher shows these to other classes with people who aren't as.....technology educated. :)
Not so much used concept, but still old
Interesting version, though.
I was just caught by the scene what you get when you lose... The guy laughed without smiling... It makes it... apathetic, phlegmatic... ..you know?
Hmmm....
Better than average Pong remakes. Some pickups and stuff like that would make it sweet.
Though it's too easy to cheat. Just try to keep your mouse cursor over the "ball", and your paddle will always be on the right spot. You should hide the mouse cursor.
And MegaMightyMe: It's not impossible. You just suck at it. The speed of the ball increases by every hit, and after it's too fast to the enemy, he'll miss it.
Thanks for your criticism, and I've fixed that now!
Pickups would be a bit weird in a pong game, don't ya think?
Okay.... hmm...
You are inspirated and original. Or very, very, very extremely bored. Or both.
Eitherway, good but pointless.
Nah.
You should've made the pieces snap to an (invisible) grid, so it wouldn't be a total pixelwork trying to get the stuff on their own places. Also a bigger variety of buildings with more detail would've been appropriate. Nice idea, give it a new shot. This one missed.
I'll do that for version 2, thanks
Weird and hard...
...but good. Keep it up, I want moooorrrrreee!!
Oh well.
This steps on the same foot that Gamecubicle's mighty cover-it-all tutorial, Ultimate Tutorial 1 and 2: lots and lots and even more spelling mistakes. Also tons of info squeezed into one phrase is too much. You should also tell people what everything in the code does. Not just tell them "copy this into this and that into that and you're done!", because that doesn't really tell the n00bie what to do and really doesn't help him to understand and not to mention, remember how to do stuff like this in the future without always consulting some tutorial.
Whew! This is the longest review I've ever done. In conclusion: music was mediocre and the explanations didn't almost exist. Still a tutorial to take seriously.
Too easy.
I got the whole game through with only one hit, and didn't even sweat. It's too easy. Good games have at least one almost impossible level, so there's something to compete about. Getting through it. The music started to bore after the 6th listening round. Also the bad quality shot sounds from like 1980 annoyed too. Anyways, a good concept still with some smoothening to do.
